Description
Question 441 OR 438 RAMP) Which ramp would benefit me in any way?
Answer) Each ramp is a stock SKI-DOO replacement ramp. The difference between the 441 and the 438 ramp is the 438 are slight more (revvy) in the bottom end. Engine braking is a little stronger and holds 2~3 mph lower than a 441 ramp w/stock gearing.
The 438’s are normally seen in a SKI-DOO 800ETEC SUMMIT T3 with a 3.0 lug track. The 441’s are normally seen in a SKI-DOO 800ETEC SUMMIT with a 2.5 lug track.
IF you want quicker (burst engine speed) from the engine to pull up to a tree and jump it, the steeper angle of the 438 ramps will provide a quicker burst of engine speed compared to a 441 ramp. They can be directly placed in any SKI-DOO 800ETEC SUMMIT with a 2.5 lug track.
Conclusion] Most of the difference you’ll see is in the bottom end. From engagement speed to about 1/3 of your track speed, up to an average of 45mph(75kmh), these have quicker rpms. When off and back on throttle, the engine revs up a l little quicker, the handlebars tugging on your arms.
