IF you have a 850 Backcountry and are going to use the iBackshift clutch kit above 6500 feet [sixty five hundy], THEN you need the 965 ramps, AND you will use them for ALL ELEVATIONS.
IF you have a 850 Renegade and are going to use the iBackshift clutch kit above 6000 feet, [six thousand] THEN you need the 965 ramps, AND you will use them for ALL ELEVATIONS.

The Ski-Doo pDrive 965 is the high elevation ramp for any Summit, Backcountry, Renegade 850 at higher than 4000 feet.
The Ski-Doo pDrive 965 ramp quickens the engine speed up over the low elevation Summit, Backcountry using 990, and the Renegade’s 968 pdrive ramp.

For an 850 natural aspirated, the Ski-Doo pDrive 965 is the most quick rpm ramp off the bottom end than the 990 and 968. The 965 minimizes lag off the bottom end, helping you wheelie.

The 965 ramps are a good match for 850 natural tunes and complete exhaust pipe packages.

Every 1000 feet elevation increase, there is a 5hp loss. Example; Sea level @ 165hp. 5000′ @ 140hp, 11000′ @ 110hp. Ski-Doo made the 965 ramp to help overcome a power lag at the highest of elevations.
